%X Great progress has been made in the study of sand and gravel layer grouting technology. In the present paper, the  theories, grouting materials and automatic recording apparatus of sand gravel layer grouting are analyzed through literature review. Grouting theories are expounded in four aspects: non-Newtonian fluid, viscosity time-variant performance, fracture grouting and grouting simulation test. Grouting material is divided into cement slurry and chemical slurry, and the grouting facility is analyzed in terms of automated recording equipment. Previous research achievements will prosper the grouting techniques development.
