The results show that with the development of deformation in geotechnical materials, the fractal dimension of displacement time-series is increasing, and scale-free zone will become increasingly obvious. This phenomenon can be used for the evaluation of rock mass safety and offers references for construction, feedback design and operation of actual engineering. %U http://ckyyb.crsri.cn/EN/10.3969/j.issn.1001-5485.2014.07.012
