%X :Finite element numerical analysis was employed to analyze the horizontal displacement and vertical displacement of reinforced earth-retaining wall embankment as well as the vertical stress of the embankment base all under self-weight. By adopting different incentive accelerations, the acceleration amplification and the horizontal displacement of embankment was researched. Results show that: under self-weight load, the stress of the embankment bottom distributes in a curve shape; maximum vertical displacement occurs in the center of embankment; and horizontal displacement distributes in a convex shape along the height. The greater the incentive peak acceleration is, the more obvious the acceleration amplification effect is. As incentive acceleration increases, variation of horizontal displacement intensifies. There is an optimal Rinter value in different embankments.
