Abstract: Post evaluation is of practical significance for improving the scientific management and the optimal configuration of resources. The post evaluation of water resources assessment is an important part of the management of water resources in construction projects. Post evaluation further regulates the verification of water resources assessment, and improves the assessment report preparation and licensing documents for approval work. In this paper, the connotation, origin, development and methods of post evaluation are expounded. According to Notice on the Post Evaluation of Water Resources Assessment for Construction Projects, the necessity of post evaluation is elaborated, and the contents, indexes, and approaches of post evaluation are preliminarily presented.
